gtk-sharp2 software package provides GTK# 2.10 suite, CLI bindings for GTK+, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gtk-sharp2
gtk-sharp2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gtk-sharp2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gtk-sharp2 *
You will get with gtk-sharp2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
